Have you ever felt called by God to perform an extra ordinary work for Him, but feel that in spite of what you do it just wouldn't happen? You try to place yourself in the ideal position, place, even around the right people. You take advantage of every opportunity made available to you that would possibly train you for that position, but still that opportunity thats truly yours never shows up. So what now?!
You're not the only one. Don't doubt for a second that God's purpose for you has changed. Isaiah 55:11 ~ So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Just in case you need an example, take a look at David. How long was it after he was anointed to be king did he actually be come king. At first he became king of only Judea, it wasn't until some seven (7) year later that he actually became king of all of Israel.
Take a look at Joseph. Joseph dreamt his dreams, he dreamt that all his family would pay homage to him. I wonder what he thought of his dreams when he was sold into slavery. I wonder when he interpreted dreams in the prison if he remembered his dreams.
My point is simply. Don't give up on the plans of God. It may not be in your timing or or the way we imagined but it will surely come to pass.
Psalms 27:14 ~ Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
