Never forget who he is

Sometimes we get so caught up in our own situations that we lose sight of the realities of life, and the goodness of God. I know I am very guilty of that.

When things don't go my way and it seems like I have to wait 'too long' for the answers my prayers, I begin to doubt it will ever come through and feel like giving up. I get so caught up in the fact that I don't have what I want that I can't see the spec of light beginning to shine through, showing me that I am so close to my.

I am so glad God's goodness is not dependent on us, 'For He is faithful who has promised'. Take time and get out of your head and situation. Take a look at things from the outside. What are the ways that your prayers are being already answered.? Are you being trained in other areas at work? Maybe that will bring the additional hours you've been wanting. Whatever it is, stop and think about your life, and thank God for beginning to come through.

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Ps. Lord I thank you for the coming peace of mind at work and the opportunity to feel more useful.
