I was afraid, but I couldn't help it. Stepping over to the edge of the plane ,I had to look down. 14,000 Ft bellow me I could see the ground. I could barely make out the shapes of buildings, and cars. What possessed me to jumped out this plane? This once in a lifetime experience got me thinking about the more important things in life.
After my sky-diving experience I got home that night. And I had to stop and prayer a special prayer. "Thanking God for sparing my life". I could have died! Was my life in order? Was I saved? The only reason why I did the jump, was because I had the assurance that my life was secured in Christ. I can't help but feel like I had a fresh start on life. It got me thinking even more. Everyday we go out, we drive our cars. More people die from car accidents that from sky-diving! When you get up in the morning, do you go out into the day knowing that if anything happen you're prepared and safe for your judgment?
Everyday that God allows us to live on this earth is another day to live life right. There is no need to go jumping out of an airplane to get that fresh start. We are never guaranteed another morning. So before you go to sleep think of that and make things right.
